Dr. Chatman grew up in the small town of Fall Branch, Tennessee. He graduated from Daniel Boone High School in 2005. He graduated from Northeast State Community College with an Associate of Science degree in 2008. He finished his undergraduate degree from East Tennessee State University, where he graduated with his Bachelor of Science degree and a concentration in Radiologic Technology.  He then continued his education and attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Florida. He finished his clinical requirements, doing his preceptorship with the Tennessee Titans Chiropractor in Nashville. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in December of 2013.

Dr. Chatman is currently the Owner and Practicing Doctor of Chiropractic at Stay Aligned Chiropractic in Jonesborough, TN.
